At Kifune Restaurant, you will find good food, fresh sushi, excellent sake and wine, and warm services from our chefs and family.  Although 70%-80% of our customers are regulars from our neighborhood, we set up this web page not to sell E*sushi, but to introduce ourselves, to provide 7/24 (7 days a week and 24 hours a day) information, such as our specialty, and your comments.  

We are located three blocks before Venice pier on Washington Street.  We are not on water front, so we do not have any ocean view.  We do not have any fancy laser show (believe me, the laser show is not free, you pay for it, one way or another).  All we have, is the freshest food made of freshest ingredients, make to your order.

We make our California roll from real Canadian snow crab, not from imitation crab (that's crab).  Our chef come in early every day; all the deliveries from fish distributors, produce wholesalers, and meat companies are inspected for quality by our chef, not just signed and received by a bus boy or a dish washer.  Sometimes, we were referred by our suppliers as "pain in the ...... you know what", but they still love to do business with us, because we pay them on time, and all our rejects are reasonable and with merits.  Our chefs do all the "d-work" to ensure the quality of our food, So - don't take my word for it, drop by and taste it for yourself.
